Training

Training is required for Soils Field Testing and Inspection (S-33), please contact Heather.Shoup@illinois.gov to find out more about when the class is offered.

Approved Labs

IDOT conducts specialized testing on MSE Retaining Wall Backfill, but also approves external laboratories external laboratories to perform the prescreening tests on its behalf.

If you would like to become an approved lab please contact the department for additional instructions.
