Events

Transportation touches every aspect of public and private life in Illinois. IDOT hosts many events throughout the year to promote transportation-related news and activities that are timely and relevant to Illinois residents and communities, as well as our transportation partners across the state. IDOT wants you involved. Public engagement is an essential part of IDOT's transportation strategy. The department strives to engage Illinois residents, local public officials, and concerned interest groups, as well as local, state, and federal agencies, and other transportation providers. The department deploys and promotes a broad range of events, from recruitment activities to public meetings.
