To change the default app for mailto: links in Windows, set your preferred email program as the default Mail app.

Windows

1. Press Win + I to open Settings
2. In Settings → Apps → Default apps
3. Scroll down and click “Choose defaults by link type”
4. Find MAILTO
5. Click the app next to it and choose your preferred email program-
   • Outlook - Set as default
