Bicycle Facility Inventory System
The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) is excited to announce the launch of the new statewide Bicycle Facility Inventory System. This online, interactive map database includes helpful information about bicycle lanes, paths, trails, and their associated characteristics. This system will better allow IDOT and other agencies to include bicycle infrastructure more prominently in future projects. Further, cyclists and other agencies may access the system to search and collect bicycle facilities data and update characteristics of trails and paths. Sound interesting? Email us for access!
