IDOT has responsibility for the planning, construction, operation and maintenance of Illinois' extensive transportation network, which encompasses highways and bridges, airports, waterways, public transit, freight and passenger railroads, and bicycle and pedestrian accommodations. Transportation impacts every community, big or small. It is important to us that Illinois residents are given the opportunity to contact us with any questions or concerns they have regarding Illinois' vast transportation system.
