Public meeting on improvements to Morgan Street/Park Avenue

Press Release The Illinois Department of Transportation announced that a public meeting will be held Thursday, April 17, on a preliminary engineering and environmental study to improve Morgan Street/Park Avenue between 149th and 167th streets in Harvey, Thornton Township, Hazel Crest and Markham. The purpose of the meeting is to provide an overview of the study process, introduce the proposed improvement alternatives and obtain public input. The study will evaluate the corridor including the intersections and develop alternative improvements to address existing deficiencies and drainage concerns.
