DBE Certification

The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) provides minorities, women and other eligible small businesses an opportunity to participate in transportation contracts that utilize federal funds. Beyond certification, IDOT fosters opportunities for DBE firms and individuals interested in doing business with the agency to learn, grow and network through available Supportive Services.

Construction or professional services firms looking to build their business and maintain a competitive edge are encouraged to conduct business with IDOT as a certified DBE.
