SCAM ALERT:  A current text message smishing scam claims recipients owe money associated with traffic tickets, tolls, and other fines.  These are not legitimate messages from the Illinois Department of Transportation.  If you receive a message report it to the Federal Trade Commission and/or the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center.

Producer and Supplier Approval

There are approximately 13,000 (active/inactive) producers and/or suppliers listed with the Department of Transportation. Updated monthly, the current List of Producers and/or Suppliers provides an alphabetic and a numerical listing including producer/supplier number, name and location.

Producers and/or Suppliers interested in providing materials to be used in construction projects must first obtain approval by the department.
