Administration of the Project

The Land Acquisition Manual is to be used to comply with departmental rules. In accordance with the contract between the department and the vendor, the required exhibits, forms and templates are to be used as outlined in accordance with the Land Acquisition Manual.

Policy Revisions

Revisions are made by IDOT to implement changes in procedures and policies. The changes are then updated in the Land Acquisition Policies and Procedures Manual.  The following are the most current revisions made:

  • List of items modified within the Land Acquisition Policies and Procedures Manual (Manual) through November 2015
  • List of items modified within the Land Acquisition Policies and Procedures Manual (Manual) through October 31, 2014
  • List of Forms/Templates/Exhibits which were updated through November 14, 2013: LA 4414 - Trust Certification (added form field at end of 1st paragraph) - 11/14/13
  • List of items modified within the Land Acquisition Policies and Procedures Manual (Manual) through October 29, 2013:

  • List of Forms/Templates/Exhibits which were updated through October 10, 2013: LA 33B Waiver Valuation template 10/10/13
  • List of items modified within the Land Acquisition Policies and Procedures Manual (Manual) through August 20, 2013: The following modifications were made to Chapter 3: Section 3.6.17 – First paragraph modified.
    • Section 1.6.2 (Appraisers) – modified
    • Section 1.6.3 (Trainee Appraisers) – added
    • Section 1.6.4 (Review Appraisers) – modified
    • Section 1.6.5 (Waiver Valuations) – modified
    • Section 1.6.6 (Negotiators-Staff and Fee) – modified
    • Section 1.6.7 (Relocation Agent – Staff and Fee) – modified
    • Section 3.5.3 (Waiver Valuation) - modified
    • Section 4.25 (Advance Acquisition) – modified
    • Section 6.11.3 (Land Vacated or Disposed of Subsequent to it Being Conveyed Under 605 ILCS 5/4-508(d)) – modified

 

The managing office will contact the firm to begin work and manage the project.

The Illinois Procurement Code requires that every vendor and subconsultant that has entered into a multi-year contract shall certify by January 1 of each fiscal year whether it continues to satisfy the certification requirements of Article 50 pertaining to legibility for a contract award.30 ILCS 500/50-2
