The FY 2025 Annual Highway Improvement Program shows the projects IDOT planned to implement during state fiscal year 2025 from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025. The FY 2025 Annual Highway Improvement Program totaled $5.83 billion, including $4.19 billion for improvements on the state system and $1.64 billion for improvements on local highways. As circumstances arose throughout the fiscal year, modifications were made to the program. After these modifications were made, the FY 2025 adjusted Annual Highway Improvement Program totaled $6.06 billion – $4.77 billion of which was awarded during the fiscal year.

A total of 998 miles of roads, 1,700,712 square feet of deck area (211 bridges) and 192 safety and traffic improvements were scheduled to be accomplished in the FY 2025 Annual Highway Improvement Program.

In FY 2025, IDOT accomplished 1,356 miles of roads, 1,285,517 square feet of deck area (129 bridges) and 196 safety and traffic improvements.
