US 40 in Troy Phase 1 Study

IDOT is performing a preliminary engineering and environmental study for potential improvements to US Route 40 from Formosa Road to IL Route 162 in Madison County, approximately 3.5 miles. This section of US Route 40 is in the Village of Troy as well as unincorporated Madison County

Open House Public Meeting: No Formal Presentation

The purpose of this meeting is to present potential alternatives for the US 40 from Formosa Road to IL 162 corridor in Troy in Madison County

This meeting will take place in an open-house format. You may come and go at any time during the scheduled meeting hours, examine the displays showing the study area traffic and crash analysis, as well as other study information. IDOT representatives will be available to answer questions throughout the meeting.

After the meeting, all exhibits and handouts from the meeting will be posted on this webpage. 

 

Note: IDOT projects typically have three distinct phases. Phase I (or the project Study) consists of developing the project scope, environmental studies and preliminary design of a project. Phase II (Design) consists of refining the design to develop contract plans and land acquisition. Phase III (Construction) consists of the actual construction of the project
