Henry County - IL 84 Colona

The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) has undertaken a study of IL Route 84 through the city of Colona from the Rock River to 0.2 miles north of US 6. This study will examine the transportation needs to serve both the local community and the region. The project proposes to reconstruct IL 84 just west of 7th Street to the BNSF tracks with patching and resurfacing west of 7th Street and south of the BNSF tracks. This project also proposes signalizing the intersection of IL 84 and Cleveland Road. The study includes a public involvement process with opportunities for stakeholder input and feedback. Construction is currently unfunded.
