The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) District 3 office is currently conducting a preliminary engineering and environmental study (Phase I) on replacement of a bridge carrying U.S. 52 over the Fox River in LaSalle County. The bridge is located 2.1 miles west of Illinois 71.
