Note: IDOT projects typically have three distinct phases. Phase I (or the project Study) consists of developing the project scope, environmental studies and preliminary design of a project. Phase II (Design) consists of refining the design to develop contract plans and land acquisition. Phase III (Construction) consists of the actual construction of the project.

Updates
- Illinois 152 from U.S. 51 to Illinois 127 west of Du Quoin: Currently in the design phase (Phase II) and tentatively scheduled for construction in late 2026.
- U.S. 51 from Park Street to Stacy Street in Du Quoin: Construction is complete except for some minor items. The road is fully open.
- Illinois 14 from U.S. 51 to Old Illinois 14 south of Du Quoin: Tree removal and utility relocations are currently underway. Road work is expected to begin in Spring 2026.
