Community Advisory Group

A Community Advisory Group (CAG) was formed for the project and met 6 times during the course of the study. The group consisted of representatives from local and county government, area communities, agricultural interests, environmental groups, business organizations, bicycling interests, and interested citizens.

The purpose of the CAG was to ensure that the opinions of the broader community were shared with the IDOT project team as well as distributing and discussing project information throughout the community. The group helped to identify and evaluate potential improvements and to generate interest and provide information to the general public about the project.
