Stakeholder Involvement Plan (SIP)
A Stakeholder Involvement Plan (SIP) is a formal written plan explaining how stakeholders' input and comments will be obtained. The purpose of the stakeholder involvement process is to promote a proactive and responsive Context Sensitive Solutions approach that seeks the input of the full range of concerned stakeholders early and often, and that provides for appropriate consideration of stakeholder input at key points in the project decision-making process. The SIP will be updated as appropriate throughout the duration of the project.
