SCAM ALERT:  A current text message smishing scam claims recipients owe money associated with traffic tickets, tolls, and other fines.  These are not legitimate messages from the Illinois Department of Transportation.  If you receive a message report it to the Federal Trade Commission and/or the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center.

Public Information Meeting (December 4, 2024)

A public meeting was held on December 4, 2024. Materials and a link to the comment sheet are below. Comments received by December 24, 2024 will become part of the study document. 

Virtual Public Engagement Activity (November 2022)

An online public engagement period was held for the first phase of engagement. The virtual public engagement period was from November 1 through November 30, 2022.

The goal of the first public engagement period was to obtain feedback, create project awareness, and to present the proposed improvements and alternatives, which is the first major milestone in the project development.
