Section 4(f) Public Review and Comment - July 31, 2017 to August 30, 2017

The improvement will require permanent and temporary easements within Groundhog Slough, located in the northwest corner of the IL 7 and 131st Street intersection, to construct a right turn lane, improve drainage and replace traffic signals.  Impacts were minimized and coordinated with the Forest Preserve District of Cook County.  The public was provided an opportunity to comment between July 31, 2017 to August 30, 2017.  On December 15, 2017 the Forest Preserve District of Cook County concurred the easements will not result in adverse impacts.  The Section 4(f) document can be viewed here.

Open House Public Meeting – July 27, 2016
